Good morning lovelies! I went shopping today with my dad woo. I just went to town and bought some bits aha. Lets just get into it! Xx
So the first thing I got was a pair of clip on hoop earrings. I don’t have my ears pierced as one of my ears has been covered by my skin condition and is really tiny so the earrings wouldn’t be level xD I really liked how hoops look so I thought I’d buy some fake hoop earrings. I really like them even though they are from Claires they look really nice. They are silver with silver glitter on the bottom of the hoops.
I also got the L’oreal Paris true match foundation in the shade rose ivory because I’m so pale aha. I haven’t yet worn the foundation properly but the shade matches really well because I swatched it. I had just ran out of my favourite foundation from the body shop and decided it was time to get a new one! I tried to find drugstore foundations that catered to more ranges of skin tones as normally you just get orange or super tanned. I had a little look online and this foundation kept popping up and I thought I’d give it a try! I’m going to be posting a first impressions blog post about this soon so keep your eyes peeled!
To go with the foundation I got the matching L’oreal Paris true match powder. I got this in the shade Golden ivory. It’s a different shade from the foundation but I found it matched better than the rose ivory powder?! I don’t know why but it did! Anyway I haven’t tried the powder either yet but I’ve heard great things about it.
I really wanted a staple red lipstick and L’oreal were having a 3 for 2 deal so I thought I may as well get the lipstick from L’oreal. After doing some hunting I found this cool lipstick that looks like a felt tip xD. It’s in the shade say my name and I’ve tested this out. The pigment is amazing and it lasts for ages but it’s pretty drying. So if you get this product I would recommend wearing lip balm underneath or a clear gloss on top! Xx
Last but not least I got an oval brush. I’ve wanted one of these for ages for my foundation. This one is from makeup revolution and it’s actually the contour brush but I preferred the size of it to the foundation one. The bristles are so soft! I haven’t used foundation with it yet but I can’t wait to test it out!
