So I’ve been thinking about what I want to take for my GCSEs and one subject that I’m definitely taking is art. I’ve been really looking forward to taking it which probably sounds stupid but I’m hoping that all the 💩heads don’t choose art because then maybe we’d actually get to do art! I’ve always loved art and my family are pretty arty I guess. One of my siblings does anime styled art and my dad is pretty into watercolours and drawings. Oh by the way this is a photo of one of my drawings in my sketchbook. I was wondering if any of you guys take GCSE art/ took it or are going to take it? If you have any tips on what I’d need, how to deal with all the homework etc I’d be very grateful. It’s currently midnight when I’m writing this and I’m ill :( I’ve scheduled this for Sunday so hi if it’s Sunday.
I only started really getting into art in like year 5/6. We didn’t do much art in primary but one day we had a lesson about the jungle and had to draw a jungle with an animal. I drew this tiger and all my friends thought it was so cool and made me draw a tiger on their work. The whole class all had the exact same tiger 😂 In year 6 I got some sketching pencils and a sketchbook because I’d been drawing on paper and I kept losing all my drawing. Sadly I lost that sketchbook but I’m sure the drawings were bad anyway. Year 7 was when we started proper art and I loved it so much. I managed to complete 3 sketchbooks that year and I had a lot of free time so filled it with art. This year I’ve got half way through this massive really good quality sketchbook. I don’t have as much time for art as I hoped but I still try to do the odd drawing here and there. Anyway goodbye guys! Night or morning because idk when you’re reading this.
