My Haircare Routine

My Haircare Routine

Much to my surprise, one of the questions I get asked most often is what I use to maintain my hair etc. I have really thick hair and it gets frizzy very easily and I recently switched up my hair products/routine and have noticed such a difference in my hair. It’s softer, lighter and the shiniest it’s ever been since I had it dyed. When showering, I wash my hair with the Phil Smith Bomb Shell Blonde Radiance shampoo and conditioner. I’ve been using this for the last couple of months and my hair has looked amazing and felt amazing. It stops the frizz and the conditioner works magic on my hair. I tend to put an extra pump of conditioner on the ends to make sure they don’t go dry and brittle – it always works a treat. Top hair tip there guys take note aha.

After showering I pat down my hair with a towel and then get into using some more product. I don’t like to use much as that makes my hair feel heavy and greasy so then they’d be no point in washing it and I’d have to re-wash it all over again! The first thing I use is the Mop Straightening Balm and squeeze the tiniest little blob onto the tips of my fingers and rub it in the ends of my hair. This again helps with de-frizzing. I will then spritz my hair with the VO5 heat protection spray. Then I’ll just dry my hair!

At least once a month I like to do a hair mask. The hair mask I do most often I found on the website luxy hair. Here’s the step by step quoted from their website if you’d like to try the hair mask yourself:

Coconut Hair Repairing Mask

The Coconut Hair Repairing Mask restores the moisture and shine back into your hair and softens it.

What You’ll Need: – 1 Tablespoon of Coconut Oil – 1 Tablespoon of Honey

Directions:

1. Mix all ingredients into a bowl

2. Transfer mix into a pot and heat up until melted

3. Apply to hair from top to bottom and cover with a shower cap

4. Let it sit for 15-20 mins

5. Rinse

So that’s all for my hair care, I hope you enjoyed it and thank you for reading,
